The **LORIOT MQTT Broker** is natively integrated within the LORIOT Network Management System (NMS) to extend its capabilities. It acts as a centralized data hub, forwarding LoRaWAN® uplink data to your wider IoT ecosystem.
The Broker is built on a RabbitMQ infrastructure, which ensures reliable, low-latency message delivery. It offers full support for MQTT versions 3.1.1 and 5.0, and includes robust security features like TLS encryption and both username/password and certificate-based authentication.
This allow users to connect any MQTT application for real-time data forwarding, bridging their LoRaWAN networks with their business applications on a single platform.

**Centralized Data Hub**
The LORIOT NMS forwards the LoRaWAN uplink data directly to the integrated MQTT Broker, consolidating users IoT data streams into a single, high-performance hub.

Furthermore, each client that establishes a connection to the Broker is assigned its own dedicated queue.
**MQTT Standard Support**
The Broker is fully compatible with MQTT v3.1.1 and v5.0, which are the industry standards for IoT messaging.

The MQTT Broker secures data with TLS encryption. For client authentication, it offers username and password combination, as well as certificate-based authentication.
